Hey There, it’s Jonathan 🙂
Do you feel like you’ve started to turn a big corner in your life?
Your Tarot reading this week indicates that you’re beginning to make an important shift.
Starting with your main card for the week the Six of Pentacles, it’s likely you will either be receiving needed support, or you will be investing in someone who could use some support themselves.
Either way, you are coming into a powerful place in your life, which will be initiated through giving or receiving.
Your second card, the Queen of Wands, is bringing courageous and creative energy into your week, to encourage you to let yourself be seen in order to come into your full, inspired, self.
Just like any transformation in life, there will be threads that reach back into your old way of doing things, but the closer you get to becoming the person you are growing into, the easier it will be to let go of the old stories and baggage.
Let’s take a look at the cards for this auspicious week.
Card #1: Six of Pentacles | Material Success
Are you starting to get back on your feet, or planning a business venture that will require some capital?
With the Six of Pentacles as your first card, there’s a good chance financial and material success are within reach.
It may be that you’ve had a recent windfall, and feel flush with your finances. Or, it could be you will receive welcome assistance from someone instead.
This card is a sign to bring attention to giving and receiving. What you put out, is what you get back. So if there is someone who is needing some assistance from you right now, it’s a great time to give what you can, knowing that life will return to you what you extend to others.
Alternatively, you could either be in need of some friendly support, or you might be getting ready to take action with a project that will require investors.
This could be something small like a loan to do house improvements, or something larger like investors to help with a small business venture.
Either way, it’s a very good time to trust the process of asking for assistance, or trust what you give out will be returned to you.
There is a stability in this card, which means you are reaching a place where things will feel more balanced and easy. This kind of balance can bring about confidence and courage.
As we’ll see in your next card, courage can be just what you need to step into the next part of a project, or really own the changes you are making in your life.
Card #2: Queen of Wands | Courageously Being You
Have you been holding back, or hiding your full self recently? If so, the Queen of Wands is here to remind you to let yourself be fully seen and heard.
This fiery Queen is both socially and creatively gifted and inspired. She can be a bit of a social butterfly, and is particularly courageous in her independent and determined actions.
When the Queen of Wands is drawn she is a sign that it’s time to let your courageous, charismatic, self take the stage.
In the image, the Queen has a black cat at her feet, symbolizing that she’s made peace with her shadow aspects. In other words, the parts of herself that she feels embarrassed about, or shameful around, have been accepted and integrated by this regal woman.
It is precisely this quality which has allowed the Queen of Wands to have so much courage. She no longer feels the need to hide anything and can therefore truly be herself in all situations.
Now is a great time to let the cat out of the box in your own life. If you have something you’ve been keeping a secret, or shaming yourself about, you might consider revealing and giving acceptance to these aspects of yourself.
There is hidden power in meeting and accepting the dark parts of yourself. There is gold deep within the cave, but you must have the courage to explore it.
In relation to your first card, the Queen of Wands has the kind of energy and self-assurance it takes to ask for some help, pitch an idea, or create new connections and networks.
This Queen wants you to step into a new level of confidence and power in your life. However, as we’ll see in our next card, this requires letting go of an old image of yourself, which may mean dealing with loss and letting go.
Card #3: Eight of Cups | Moving On
Is there something you’ve recently left behind, or perhaps you’ve started to consider leaving? When the Eight of Cups is drawn, it’s likely there is something which has played an important role in your life that has now become somewhat of a burden.
This could be something tangible like a relationship, a job, or your living space. However, it could also simply be the way you view yourself, or how you think about something in your life.
The Eight of Cups is a clear sign that whatever you need to leave behind is not necessarily an easy thing to let go of. Even if it is no longer bringing you joy, and is maybe even creating pain and sorrow, you have grown used to it in your life.
That being said, it’s time to let go and move on. If you check in with the truth of this inside of you, you can feel that you’ve already made the choice.
This is an important move for you! Our first and second cards are signs that you are moving towards a different kind of stability and courage, and a more whole, healthy, you.
This could mean that you are needing to let go of an old image of yourself. One that has you feeling like you are lacking, or too timid, or not good enough.
It’s time to let these old thoughts go so you can step into the big beautiful person you truly are.
Sometimes we have grown so accustomed to our story of lack, or being not good enough, that when we start to taste balance or success, we quickly find ways to return to our old way of doing things.
The Six of Pentacles is reminding you, not only are you starting to find new success in your life, but there are people around you that want to, and will, support you.
You have a fiery, passionate, and inspired aspect to yourself that is ready to take the wheel. The combination of the grounded Six of Pentacles with the creative Queen of Wands, is perfect for moving forward with projects or self work in a healthy well paced way.
Ultimately though, it’s just plain time to let go of whatever it is that is draining you. Keep forging ahead, while also giving yourself time to mourn the old you that is being laid to rest.
It won’t take long for the momentum and new inspiration to take you on an exciting ride that will feel so different you will forget you ever felt out of place in this new you.
Enjoy the journey!
