Hey it’s Luna!
Have you noticed yourself becoming more aware lately of something you no longer want or need in your life?
Recently, the Sun officially passed out of fiery Leo, and into the realm of earthy Virgo, where it will stay until September 22nd.
Virgo is a bit of an underrated sign, but it provides us with the medicine we need to let go of what’s holding us back and truly succeed in our lives.
In fact, this transit may present you with the opportunity to release, once and for all, your energetic connection to a toxic relationship.
So without further ado, let’s explore what this next month has to offer!
A Focus On Self Improvement
While the Sun is in Virgo for the next month, we are being asked by the cosmos to take notice of our lives, and root out anything that isn’t useful, or at worst, is toxic. Virgo is an analyst, servant, and healer who is focused on helping us become more efficient and sane.
Like all signs, Virgo has a dark side. Beware of hypercriticism this month. While it’s good to improve your life and support those around you in improving theirs, make sure your effort to help doesn’t devolve into nit picking or micromanagement. This transit can aid you in learning the difference between what can be improved and what is better accepted as it is, to be embraced as imperfectly perfect.
Some things in our lives, however, are better off gone. Just like cleaning up clutter that’s accumulated on a shelf, when the Sun is in Virgo, it’s a great time to get rid of any emotional or energetic clutter you may have collected over the last year, or longer.
Pulling Up The Weeds
If your life were a garden, Virgo would be the master gardener, digging up weeds and cutting back anything that doesn’t contribute to its overall health and beauty. The transit of Sun in Virgo is encouraging you to tend to your garden and decide what gets to grow there, and what doesn’t.
There might be a relationship in your life that has been bringing you down instead of inspiring you. Maybe you’ve been ill and have had trouble making a full recovery. Or you might be struggling with negative thinking, finding yourself locked into scarcity, depression or fear. Whatever the issue, Virgo’s logical, almost surgical approach to problem solving will help you identify the source of your unhappiness so you can bravely uproot it.
Weeds in our garden drain our energy and steal our attention from the other opportunities in our life. While both the Sun and Mercury are in Virgo, you can use this sign’s discerning energy to pull up any weeds that have taken hold. This way, the good things in your life are able to get the energy they need to reach their full potential.
To support you in this process, I’ve put together a short visualization practice for you.
Before you listen, find a comfortable place where you can sit undisturbed for a few minutes.
Luna’s Cord Cutting Meditation for Sun in Virgo
I hope this meditation leaves you feeling clear and empowered! Feel welcome to practice the meditation whenever you feel the need. Even just a few minutes of visualization can be highly transformational!
We are living in a pivotal time, when cosmic and worldly forces are bringing out hidden tensions and challenging us to evolve more swiftly. One of the very best things we can do during this time is to take care of ourselves, listen to our inner truth, and have faith that when we release something in our lives that is no longer serving us, something even better will show up to take its place.
Wishing you a fruitful Sun in Virgo transit.
