Holy guacamole, we have an incredible week coming up! The potency of last week’s events may have felt like a crash, a whisper, or pure grace and ease to you.  

Regardless of how you have been experiencing the shifts, a sense of change will be in the air for weeks and months to come. A potential that has been quietly present in the background for some time is beginning to awaken and pour into your life.

This week, you can expect acceleration to occur in supportive and unexpected ways. Rarely do three major arcana cards come forward and with such precision. I’m very excited for this week. I hope you will take heed of the opportunities and let yourself rise to the occasion. 

Let’s take a look at how you can take advantage of these juicy energies.

The High Priestess | A Fertile Soul

The High Priestess guards the gate to higher esoteric knowledge as well as the deep secrets of our intuition. Only those who have learned to trust life and listen to their inner knowing may enter her chamber. 

She is fertile, firm, yet tender in her heart and emotions. The High Priestess’ beautiful representation of divine feminine beacons you to listen to your deep wisdom and care for yourself as a most precious, delicate soul. Which you truly are.  

Our modern world often asks us to forge wildly ahead without heeding the deeper knowing lying beneath the surface. Because of this, and the massive technological overstimulation we are exposed to, many of us have grown numb to the tender center of our souls and the wildness of our hearts.

This card is asking you this week to soften into the magic of your intuition, and give yourself room to both rest deeply, and create without any goal other than delightful self-expression. We often believe we can only achieve what we want if we force ourselves to work harder and do more.

The High Priestess is a reminder of the nourishing, potent energy within you. To access your creative core requires slowing down, listening, and letting your deep source guide you. 

Wheel of Fortune | Unexpected Luck

As the previous card attests, we sometimes fight and struggle only to find that when we surrender and let go, a new perspective or insight begins to arise. I find it fascinating

how easy it is to forget about the natural cycles of life, particularly how death comes before birth. 

If things have been tumultuous for you lately get ready for a possible break from the thrashing storm, and a chance to make powerful changes. You have likely heard the old adage: the darkest hour is just before the dawn. The Wheel of Fortune indicates the arrival of a long awaited sunrise, good luck and a shifting of the tides.

This card is tied to ‘karma,’ which I interpret as cause and effect, and the cyclic patterns of life. What you put out, comes back to you, so pay close attention to the thoughts you are thinking, and the ways you are treating the people around you.

This is not a warning sign or a moral admonishment. Rather, it’s an opportunity to notice if your life feels and appears to have the same texture and flavor as your thoughts and treatment of others. It’s an opportunity for exploration into your creatorship. 

With the energy of The Priestess intermingling with The Wheel of Fortune, creative and unexpected opportunities will likely pop up throughout the week. Create space and open yourself for this to occur by not over scheduling, and being willing to say yes when your body and energy say yes, regardless of what your mind says.

Allow yourself time to experiment this week. Have fun, and notice if something new reaches out and tickles your inspiration. 

The Sun | Unconditional Joy

Have you ever woken up from a dream and felt like there is warmth pouring from your heart into every cell? Or perhaps you have a lover or a spiritual teacher who can crack open and dilate the sacred portal of your heart in such a way that everything you see is divine beauty.

This is the kind of energy the Sun card represents in its most refined essence. In the more grounded sense it is success, confidence, and the kind of innocence that can see new possibilities and delights in the moment at hand. The Sun is one of my favorite cards to see in a reading, I interpret it as unconditional love or joy.

It’s likely you will have an opportunity this week to take a load off and bask in the sunlight shining down upon you, or from within you! Let yourself have this. Soak up the positive, healing vibes and receive.

Untangle from any thoughts fogging up your world by playing at the park, or spending time doing something that makes you feel young and free, whatever that is for you.  

Recipe for Success

This is a power packed reading to say the least, but it doesn’t guarantee your success, particularly if you only use tarot for divination. The path of divination will always keep you searching for what is to come, whereas the path of The Magician allows you to get involved and be a part of the process. This week, you’re invited to embody The Magician and shift your focus from seeking to creating.

The High Priestess is calling you to actively engage your creative process by giving yourself space to soften and listen to your intuition. Write your dreams down, listen to music that opens your heart – or whatever it is that you do that connects you with your soulful, feeling self. 

Notice if there is something reaching out and whispering “follow me”. Open yourself to creative pursuits, opportunities, or adventure. The Wheel of Fortune is offering you a glimmer of magic worth investigating. 

Also, take time to see if there are nagging thoughts on repeat in your head. They may have become so normal to you that you assume they are true. Write them down. Notice if what you have been thinking is what is happening in your life. This is an opportunity to improve your inner dialogue.

Finally, let your inner child have fun! Take yourself on a playdate, and do something silly or adventurous. Ask him or her what they would like to do, and be sure to schedule time for the little one within you. He or she is the key to awakening the joy and optimism in your heart.
