This is because a rare cosmic event is coinciding with the New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th. 

While all new moons offer you a chance at new beginnings, this one is particularly potent. In fact, it’s so important, I wrote about it at the beginning of the year in my 2021 Forecast.

So, what makes this new moon so special? 

Six planets, yes…six, will be packed together in the sign of Aquarius. This rare astrological occurrence is called a stellium, and it means the cosmos’ energy is ultra concentrated in one area. 

With the new moon stellium in Aquarius, your focus will turn toward visionary inspirations, embracing technological advancements, and finding solutions — not just to problems in your own life, but possibly to those of the world.  

The last time we saw a new moon stellium in Aquarius was in 1962, which kicked off an era of personal freedom and environmental consciousness through the “hippie movement”.

This new moon will also be concerned with freedom, change, and collective awakening. It’s a powerful time to set intentions, cut through distractions, and find brilliant shortcuts to manifest your vision for life.

Over the coming days, you may feel as if your future is expanding with possibilities… and it is!

Riding on the tail of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction that happened on December 21st 2020, this new moon is the second wave of Aquarian energy, helping to usher in the future of humanity.

“What do I need to release to let my uniqueness shine through?”

“Is there a part of my true self I’ve been suppressing to gain the approval of others?”

The Price Of Progress

The Aquarius New Moon is having us revisit an ongoing event that will be occurring throughout 2021. This is the square of Saturn in Aquarius (which is part of the new moon stellium), with Uranus in Taurus.

As the first of the Earth signs, Taurus rules over all things physical, including money. In contrast, airy Aquarius rules over science, technology, and advancements that benefit humanity. 

These two signs don’t see eye to eye, and create a tense aspect called a square, in astrology. This difficult placement emphasizes the importance of working through power struggles and ultimately integrating two differing points of view.

You can see the ongoing battle between Saturn and Uranus reflected in the growing popularity of cryptocurrency along with the recent Game Stop stock buy up, and the pushback from traditional financial institutions.

This planetary wrestling match will continue throughout the year. However, since Saturn has now entered Aquarius, and with Pluto set to enter Aquarius in 2024, it’s a good indication that new forms of currency and many other life-changing technological advancements will ultimately be accepted and integrated into daily life.

The change humanity is going through right now is also being mirrored in your own world. 

Possessions you value, whether physical or philosophical, are being tested during this new moon. You are being asked to notice what needs to shift in order to balance your sense of security with greater personal freedom. 

If you’re holding on to old values or possessions out of fear or stubbornness, you will start to notice the friction it creates in the face of new growth wanting to come through your soul.

Old attitudes are giving way to new innovations.
